- The chapel of St John's in Hay, long known as Eglwys Ifan, had an equally chequered history. It was turned into lock-up between 1811-70, later becoming a fire station, a shop and then a house. The building was substantially rebuilt in the 1930s and is now used as a chapel and meeting room. |
