- Long Ashton RDC provided 2 Bedford appliances as result of the 1938 Fire Brigades Act - EYC621 and EYD667. One at Clist & Rattle garage, Long Ashton, one at council offices, Cambridge Batch, Flax Bourton. NFS shut Clist & Rattle at some point so when Somerset FB took over in 1948, Cambridge Batch covered Long Ashton RDC area. Flax Bourton station closed 1952
