- Steel building used for storage and garaging at Portland fire station. This building had previously been the appliance room for the Eagle Road fire station in Poole (although it was actually sited in Poole Road, just west of County Gates. The station was not continued by Dorset on denationalisation but the garaging was used for storage there before being dismantled and reerected at Portland. In 1951, Eagle Road housed two Fordson 4x4 water tenders , GYR 239 (complete but defective) and GYR 220 (tank, pump, etc, removed and effectively a flat bed lorry).
