- Tynemouth fire stations: The original station was in Norfolk Street, forming the rear of the Town Hall block. In 1905, they moved to a converted school on the other side of Norfolk Street. In the meanwhile, they opened further stations at the Bullring in west North Shields, in Oxford Street, Tynemouth and Huddlestone Street, Cullercoats. All were attached to police stations. The Bullring station was for the steamer, the other two seem to have hose carts.
