- This was the old smiddy which has been demolished, with a house currently being built on the site (2013). This became the fire station, shared with the Coastguard, when Kilchoan was equipped with a Ford Escort van. Prior to this, the equipment was kept in a shed in a garden, on the B8007 at a different location
