- Denbighshire Free Press 02/10/1909: Agreement for conversion of fowl market into fire station. The Fire Station, now in use, was formerly a store room, and was adapted to its present use on the formation of the brigade in 1869. In 1893 the Fire Station was extended by an addition to a portion of the butter market. This addition had been recently given up.
